Our intention in running this training course is to train women or girls in The Art Academy's principles, empowering them to teach chugim all over Yerushalayim and beyond. 

Recognising the need for proper fine art education, The Art Academy has put together a course designed to give every participant the skills and knowledge on how to impart art to children.

Topics that will be covered in the course include:

• How to differentiate between different age groups and their abilities in art

• How to prepare a comprehensive and educational art curriculum

• How to speak to parents, enroll students and manage supplies and the financial aspects

• How to successfully teach children to draw and paint from the age of four!

• How to run a chug, including set up, avoiding meltdowns, encouraging success and timing of projects

• How to teach colour theory, still life drawing, guided drawing and famous artists 

• How to teach painting on canvas and when is the right time for students to begin

• How to manage an art chug when teaching in a house that's not yours

• How to keep yourself inspired and creative  whilst teaching children art!

• Resources to help further your knowledge

• Where and what supplies to buy

• Loads of sample lesson plans

You  will receive a comprehensive handbook with over 60 pages  of guides and info to help you  plan and construct art chugim.

Participants will complete the course with sample lesson plans for all age groups, a handbook full or resources and ideas and the confidence to start teaching art to children and teens!
